Norman Olson was a remarkable, kind, hardworking person and has instilled those same qualities of morals, hard work and faith within his family. I am grateful to have had the opportunity to meet and work with him. He will truly be missed.

My deepest condolences to the family and friends of Mr. Olson. I hope you find comfort in our Heavenly Fathers promise for the future found in Isaiah 25:8. There he promises to "swallow up death forever" and to "wipe away the tears from ALL faces." Yes, soon God will eliminate death forever and restore humans to a beautiful paradise earth, where we can all live forever! (Psalms 37:29) I hope these wonderful thoughts can bring you comfort during this extremely difficult time.

Norman, his son Jeff and i flew up to Minneapolis in 1979. Norm wanted to introduce his son to a small little company called Sweko Research and Develpment Co. I had been buying stock in the company due to Normans encouragement and i thought a trip to Minneapolis would be very educational. What i found was a little store front company specializing in refridgeration. I also met H.P. Chalmers that weekend who was not only touting Swenko but Electronic Missiles and Communications. That was the start of me getting involved with those two companies-all because of Norman. It was a wild ride for a few years and very interesting. Norman loved getting involved with different companies and enjoyed talking about them. We had many laughs over those days later on in life. It was a great learning experience and i know Jeff remembers those days well.

Norman always had a kind word to say about everyone. I have known him all of my live going all the way back to childhood.. We attended the same church, high school and he lived a couple of blocks from me. I remember well how he started his insurance business. Norman had a way with words-i knew of no one else who could talk in circles and still make sense like Norman. Everyone loved his smile and positive words for everyone. His children will.continue to be in charge of his Insurance business. Jeff will take charge and be assisted ably by Lori and Lynn. His beloved wife Joyce is cherished by her children and my prayers and with her to remain strong. There are many other family members working in the business and they will continue to make Norman proud. RIP dear friend and see you on the other side. Your long time buddy Arnold

I first met Norman with his wife on a business trip to Europe we both won from an insurance company contest. We fast became friends and business acquaintences. Through the years Norman would call me to share business ideas over the phone or at lunch together at Hilton's Whitney's Cafe.

He was always enthusiastic about whatever our conversation was about and always a very happy person. Sometimes he would call me just to mention he drove past my office late in the evening and saw my lights still on, letting me know I may be working too hard. I don't recall him ever having a negative thought about anything or anyone. He was a great guy to know and I know he will be missed by many.
