Some of my most fondest memories would have to be the family get togethers at the Navotny's. I would always enjoy the time spent when Uncle Don would come down and run the trains he was so proud of his creation and no matter how many times we would derail it with the race cars he would just chuckle and get it running again.I also couldn't wait to get to ride in the Firebird He had me convinced it was the Knight Industries Two Thousand(K*I*T*T)Thanks Uncle Don for all the good times.Love you and God Bless. Dear Dad. I never was very good at saying goodbye but this is probably one of the hardest things I have ever had to do. I miss you a lot already and I'm sure it is only going to get harder as time passes. I always tried to spend as much time with you as possible and I will miss our golf outings at Silver Lake and our long interesting conversations. You always knew a lot about a lot of things and we could talk for hours. It is really hard for me to look at all these pictures and see your smiling face. I am happy you had a good life and rest knowing that you have many people that loved you. I always knew that one day I would lose my Dad, my golf buddy and my friend I just didn't think it would be so soon. I am not sure why you were taken so soon and I probably never will. I hope you are in a better place now and you don't have to suffer anymore. I miss you and love you and I hope to see you again someday. Love, Paul

Don, after knowing you my whole life, it is hard to say good bye, so I am Not going to say good bye just farewell for now. Until we meet again. I will remember you as a great father, who raised a beautiful family. A man who served his country in the Navy and was honorable discharged , a close friend to have shared many laughs. Please say Hi, to our old friends who have passed before us like Don Gorup , Bob Klatt Bruce W. some day we will be together again.
