David W. Schaver, age 51, passed away on Friday morning at his home surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband for 32 years to Linda, nee Frieling. Loving father of Kyle (Annie), Danny, Lindsey (Tony) Spano and Kelsey (Joe) Glotz. Cherished grandfather of Ada Mae. Devoted son of Bernice and the late James B. Schaver. Dear brother of Nancy (Ryan) Regnerus, James Jr. (Janet), John (Kimberly), Edward (Carolyn), Pam (late James) Huizenga and Kim (Gary) Hooker. Dear son-in-law of Shirley and the late Jay "Bud" Frieling. Fond brother-in-law of Robert (Kim), Laura (David) Ipema, Thomas (Mary) and Sandra (Eric) Washington. Dear uncle of many nieces and nephews.

Dave will be fondly remembered by family and friends as our devoted father and loving husband, smoker of meats, amateur fisherman, teller of dad jokes, fixer of anything, drinker of Miller Lite, skilled craftsman, and humble leader.

Visitation Monday, October 22, 2018 from 2-9 PM at Colonial Chapel 15525 S. 73rd Ave. (155th/Wheeler Dr. & Harlem) Orland Park, IL. A Memorial Service to celebrate Dave's life will be held at Calvary Church of Orland Park, 16100 S. 104th Ave., Orland Park, IL on Tuesday, October 23, 2018 at 11:00 a.m.
