Obituary for Arthur J. Sluis

Arthur J.  Sluis
Arthur J. Sluis, age 90, WWII US Army Veteran. Beloved husband for 69 years to the late Eleanor, nee Huiner (2015). Father of Merry (Gerald) Hoekstra, Larry (Debbie) Sluis, Susan (John) Heemstra, Lorene (Tom) Visser and honorary son Ken (Rita) Beukema. Grandfather of 10 and great-grandfather of 12. Brother of Jessie Alderden and the late Norman Sluis, Marie Iwema and Charlotte Siegers. Uncle of many nieces and nephews.

Former owner of N. Sluis & Sons Seeds.

Visitation Sunday, February 25, 2018, 3-6 p.m. with a Funeral Service to follow at 6:00 p.m. at Colonial Chapel, 15525 S. 73rd Ave. (155th/Wheeler Dr. & Harlem) Orland Park, IL. Interment private at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood, IL.
