Condolence: I had the great pleasure to know, work with (and for) Jim! At work I used to poke fun at him when an opportunity knocked and he was always such a good sport! And he even had a way of turning things on himself—his sense of humor was light and carefree. Then on most days, I called him Jim out of respect of his senior position to me, but on simpler days, or working on a project, I called him JV. He used to say I answer to worse! See? It’s that humor! But on a more serious note, I have thought of Jim often during the past few years and always kept him in my prayers. I was hopeful that he would “win the battle”... I am truly saddened by this news and my deepest condolences go out to Jim’s family and friends. God speed Jim
