Condolences

Condolence From: Dawn Turnell Moore-Hinsdale NICU RN
Condolence: Kay was one of the first people I met when I started in the Hinsdale NICU in 2005. She was friendly and easy going, and many times she hosted our NICU RN committee meetings (i.e., "People Pillar," employee and unit improvement committee! ) at her house.

I will always remember Kay for the fun person she was and her many trips to Aruba. I will also remember how how crazy (busy) the NICU used to get every time she left for Aruba! It was a pleasure knowing Kay, and I have very good memories of her. Thinking of you Kay.......You will be missed!

Condolence From: Susan Kolar-HinsdaleRN
Condolence: Kay, I was in shock hearing you were sent home in hospice care but then so sad to hear of your death. You always did everything with quick efficiency so I guess your body said onward to Phase Two. I want your children and Don to know how much you were liked at Hinsdale.I felt you stuck up for what you believed in and you tried to be cognizant of all the staff's needs as a manager. I thought you did a great job.I always enjoyed working with you.You were approachable and listened. We missed you when you left. I was happy seeing photos of you and Don in Florida. I just wish you two had another decade of fun to live. Likewise, Kay loved her children and grandchildren so much. Louise, I only know you and goofed up trying to put a note on facebook but know each of you will have some great memories of fun times shared to keep her close in your hearts forever. If we didn't feel pain at this loss we would not realize how special she was. May God's promise of eternity give your hearts a healing balm. Sincere condolences to all of you
