Obituary for Jacob H. Wishnew

Jacob H. Wishnew
Jacob H. Wishnew, age 24, passed away peacefully into the arms of Jesus on Tuesday, October 17, 2017 surrounded by his family. Jacob faithfully fought a courageous battle with lymphoma. Beloved son of Roger and Sandy, nee Daane. Loving brother of Sarah (Mark) Phillips. Precious grandson of John and Gail Daane & Cynthia and the late Howard Wishnew. Dearest nephew, cousin and friend of many.

Jacob had the unique ability to make anyone laugh in any situation no matter what was going on. The witty jokes and phrases he made up will always live on. He had a quiet strength that was amazing to see. His heart was big and his smile was beautiful. Jacob touched so many people in his walk with Christ during his 18 month fight against cancer. Even on his most difficult days, he continued to trust that God had a plan for every situation. Jacob is already greatly missed.
